Since updating to the latest SU for iPad the section tool completely freezes the iPad - to get out I have to restart
It’s a bug indeed.
SketchUp technical support got back to me as follows:
Our Devs have isolated the bug.
You can stop this from happening by going into the Preferences, (Gear Icon at Top of Workspace), abd under General, scroll to Shortcuts, and toggle OFF the Show ShortCuts Toolbar. That seems to resolve the issue.
Devs are looking at it to see if they can get it fixed in a future release.

well @jim8 turns out I was wrong in the other thread, it was toolbar related. how odd it only impacted your section tool.

be sure to check the SketchUp > Gallery and make your thread there, we want to see the stuff you do, even if it’s bad, even if it’s weird.
especially if it’s weird.
The general iPad release topic will get updated soon no doubt, but to give you a head-start, version 7.0.2 just went live, and amongst other things it fixes the issues you get when the short toolbar is showing.
