SketchUp Desktop Viewer Won't Open Dropbox File

I have installed sketchup viewer 2017 on my windows 8.1 desktop. It seemed to install no problem at all. It won’t open a file in my dropbox. The file is there but just won’t open.???

Move the file to your local hard drive and open it from there.
