Thank you!

Eric?

Eric has been traveling this past week, but if your question is still which Campus courses to take in order, then it’s best to understand that after the Fundamentals, none of the other courses are meant to be taken in any particular order.

Sure, take the intro to LayOut first if you are new to LO, but when Eric created courses such as CAD workflow, or Landscape, or Rendering courses, or Interior, none of those are sequential. As such, there are some overlapping ideas, but it’s really up to you.

Unfortunately we don’t have any specific to Civil Design, and most of the courses beyond the Fundamentals will delve into Pro areas, such as LayOut, or using Extensions.

One suggestion I’d make is to look at Nick Sonder’s book on creating documents with SU and LO. It won’t teach you the Architectural knowledge you’d need in creating a plan set, but it would be an incredible skill to offer to small and medium sized firms.

Just one option, good luck!

Tyson, thank you for the information and advice!

I can’t manage to open any of the classes/courses.

How did you try to open them? What error did it give you?

Thanks @mihai.s ,

That is correct, Enroll in any courses to see the video lessons. Hopefully that is the only final step to enjoying the lessons.

If you Enroll, but still have site behavior that kicks you back to the homepage, and a URL that reads something like. -…user.already.taken… then email us: campus@sketchup.com and we’ll reset your Campus account which will fix any sign-in issues.

Tyson, yes I enrolled, but, the video doesn’t play

.

I’ve checked the hosting site, there are no errors, and there are no other reports of video playback problems. Please try a few different videos and courses to see if you have similar problems, but I worry that if that is the case, it will be something happening with your machine or settings.

Could it be a browser issue? I know my Firefox blocks a lot of settings and somethings needs to use Chrome, etc.

Good day from Canada, I just finished the desktop fundamentals course from your home page, what should be the 2nd course I take, if there a specific order to do these courses?

Great job! No specific order…There is a Fundamentals: Modeling Practice that could be a god way to put your new skills to the test. Otherwise pick what sounds interesting to you!
