Hi!
My work focuses on environmental graphics and experiential design, so I straddle the worlds between architecture, interior design and graphic design. I have a couple questions
- Is this a good conference for me to attend?
- If so, do you have a recommended group of sessions that you would recommend for me?
Thanks in advance.
Absolutely! The SketchUp 3D Summit is designed to be flexible, so you can tailor the experience to your needs—especially with your unique background in environmental graphics and experiential design.
The great thing about the Summit is that the agenda is yours to craft. We all start the day by watching the first two presentations together, followed by a break. After that, you get to choose your own learning session from three options running concurrently and lasting one hour and 20 minutes:
- Hands-On Workshop – Perfect if you want to dive deep and build skills step-by-step.
- Live Modeling Session – Watch an expert work through real-time challenges and workflows.
- Office Hours – Sit down in a small group with industry pros and get feedback specific to your projects.
After those sessions, we break for lunch, and then the entire routine repeats in the afternoon—giving you even more chances to explore the topics that interest you most.
While I’m confident you’ll benefit from all sessions, you may be particularly interested in presentations by Micah Sexton and Nick Sonder, known for their immaculate graphic standards. Also, Henry Gao will be teaching his beautiful hand drawing style with Morpholio Trace—which sounds perfect for someone with your design focus.
Plus, we’re actively working on rounding out a few more speakers with a focus on interior design, so you’ll have even more relevant content to choose from.
With three tracks—Design & Documentation, AI Innovations, and Workflow Automation—you have the freedom to jump between sessions and shape the Summit experience to fit your interests.
Let me know if you have more questions. We’d love to see you there!
Oh, and just a heads-up—if you’re planning to attend, the $500 discount ends this Friday! Definitely a great time to lock in your spot. You can register here: SketchUp 3D Summit Registration.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for your feedback. Since I work for New York State, it has taken a while to get approval. We missed the discount, but I will be attending. Looking forward to it! -mjhardin
