Am i the only one cannot work with Sketchup 26 (also 25) because it crashes constantly??
as a person who has been using Sketch up professionally for 15 yeas, i feel like that’s it… i fed up with sketch up. Each years not only we don’t see meaningful changes (adding basic tools, instead of installing and paying plugins) now were have versions 25, 26 that are full of bugs and crashes.
Switching completely to Rhino is Loading….

if you need help, can you tell more about the bugs you’re noticing ? and when it crashes, do you send your bugsplats ? do you have some bugsplat numbers for the tech to check ?

Nope, sketchup 22 was the crashless one, then 23 was full of bugs, 24 was decent but 25,26 is full of crashes
Why don’t you contact support about your problem?
I only found one bugsplat from you, which was for 2026. Your report is the only one of that type of crash.
Could you send one in a few times, so I can see if it’s always crashing for the same reason?

Well, i run SU 2025 (with around 15 Plugins loaded) on Windows 11 / RTX 5070Ti, and it maybe crashes once in 2 weeks - Mostly on Startup. Maybe your Windows Installation is just corrupt or some plugins are outdated? If I had any problems like that, it were mostly the plugins.
And another question: How big are the models you work with?

This time as i simply pressed the camera on the topbar!!
the system is (windows11, 20Gb graphic card, 256Gb ram)
the only plugins right now are vray and D5 but it doesn’t crash when im interacting with them.
its more about these new versions as the previous versions like 22 or 24 doesn’t have any problem with full sets of plugins on.
Hmmm I guess your NVIDIA Drivers are actual Studio Drivers? The least problems i have with rendering plugins as well (Thea Render and Enscape3D) … weird.
Thanks for the new bugsplats. It’s still the same issue, and you’re the only person seeing the problem.
I have asked the developers to look at your bugsplats to see if they can tell what is going wrong.
One question from the developers, the code where the problem is happening may be in connection with virtual machines. Are you using a VM, or a regular PC?
