Sketchup 2025 Tray docking failure

Let me first say, drawing year 2025 is the best one yet - cool features and a lot of new everything… having said that, I know this is cosmetics but in the past versions I was able to customize my tray folders into their own “side swipe menus” and place them on the left side of the screen (since I’m right handed I need the screen on my right side). Version 2025 the trays automatically dock t to the right side of the screen (after exiting, then rebooting SketchUp) and will not dock to the left side unless I am running the default tray. I have created their own sub menu trays however, they won’t dock at all… why is this?

You´re right, I was able to open Sketchup 2025 on pc and I can’t dock it to the left side, I´ve always used on the right side though I´m right-handed as well.

I would greatly appreciate a step-by-step instructions on how to dock the default tray to the RHS of my view screen. In 2024, when click+hold the title bar of the default tray, a docking direction indicator used to show up in the middle of the screen, but not in 2025.
I am using Windows and SKP pro for desktop.
Thanks

Double clicking on the title bar for the tray should dock it to the right side.

BTW, please update your forum profile. It says you’re using SketchUp 2021 on Windows 10.

Thanks DaveR
double clicking the title bar is not doing anything. If I drag the tray to the top of the screen it opens up to screen width.

I have also updated my profile on the forum. Thanks!

Hi again, i am still hoping to resolve the default tray docking issue. Double clicking on it is not working. Im on windows 10, skp pro for desktop. Skp2025 of course
Thanks

Ok, i managed to find a solution so sharing for the benefit of others.
Click and hold the scroll button on your mouse. Docking map should appear at the center of the screen. Click to dock.
