I am a Certified Architectural Drafter living in Arlington Texas but I work in Mansfield Texas approximately 20.6 miles from my home. I work at Millwork Solutions - we use Sketchup & Layout on a dailey bases by converting the finished SketchUp (SKP) drawing to a .dxf file so the CNC machine can read our drawings and cut out our cut-list. After this, my portion of the design is done, but the finished product is cut into custom cabinets for commercial buildings like

• Edwards Ranch Medical Hospital
• Dallas Fort Worth Airport Capital-One Lounge

and the list goes on and on. I love my job and have now branch my job into my career. SketchUp and I have had a long journey together (from 2006 to the present) with design work. We will have an exciting time getting to my 2nd retirement together!
