SketchUp 2025 Toolbars

Hi, is there a way to stop all the toolbars showing when I start SU even when I’ve previously closed all the ones I don’t want to show?

toolbar state may also not be saved if you open multiple sketchup instances or close without saving any file

When I initially installed it I right clicked and ran as Admin…but I’ll try your suggestion now…thanks

I always find I need to save the sketchup file after I’ve moved a TB for it to ‘stick’.
When its time for a new version/fresh install like now with the mass of loose TB’s like your screenshot I usually just save the empty file as xx.skp on my desktop and delete it when I’m done.

I had this happen to me after I migrated the extensions.

Since I wanted 25 and 24 to have all icons, toolbars and trays in the same place I had them open side by side and moved or deleted anything on 25 until it matched my 24 set up.

Then I just saved as a new template and job done. Kettle on, feet up and then trawled through the release notes trying to figure out the new stuff.

Sorted…I opened SU24 just to see…all good…reopened SU25…all TB’s everywhere…rearranged/closed saved my default template…reopened and all good, no need to reinstall/repair!!

Thanks all :+1:
