I’m experiencing an issue with V-Ray after installing SketchUp 2025. Although the V-Ray icon appears in the toolbar, the application doesn’t launch when I click on it—no window or interface pops up.
Is anyone else encountering the same problem?

I have the same issue. The same version of Vray opens fine in SU2024. I’ve tried removing every trace of Vray and installing it fresh but no joy. The Ruby console shows nothing when I try to activate Vray from a toolbar or menu.
I put it aside though thinking that maybe the next Vray update will fix it.
It’s reassuring to hear that others are experiencing the same problem.
Thanks for the thought and hopefully you are right on the next version of Vray.
I had the same problem with SU2024.
It occurred when I had plugins “Fredo6: LordOfTheToolbars” or " Curic Pie Menu", so now I try not to install them.
This is a translation, so I’m sorry if it sounds strange.
I ended up uninstalling V-Ray 7 and decided to roll back to V-Ray 6, which works smoothly with SketchUp 2024 but also not in 2025. Hopefully, the compatibility issue gets addressed in one of the upcoming V-Ray or SketchUp updates.
Thank you for the reminder of this. I forgot that LordOfTheToolbars was the issue. I had removed LOTT from my 2024 installation a long time ago because of this but when I installed my Sketchucation bundle in SU2025 LOTT came with it.
Fixed now!
