After SketchUp 2015 release, I want to take a moment to say “BIG” thank you for x64 support to a SketchUp Team. For SketchUp 2015 I did a long list, for SketchUp 2016 I think it is better to keep the program simple but provide a good core functionality and features. So I reduced my wish list to a minimum… well almost ) GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS / FEATURES TeamWork / Xref - is essential for any office based work I know there is an option to use components, but common it is not really useable for commercial projects with team of 10 people. Or it is not flexible. Basic building elements - (Walls, Slabs, Curtain Walls, Roofs, Windows/Doors) with use of Dynamic Components, so user can edit individual elements and create custom elements. Faster Nicer Viewport - nicer texture representation, nicer anti-aliasing, soft shadows, smooth navigation, better fog and light. So there is no almost no need for external renderer Components to cut through walls / two faces - for creating windows and doors Real indestructible curves - even if curve was exploded you still have an option to find tangents or centre OSX Please give some love to a OSX version of SketchUP. Material List Better UI - Please update the UI to fit Apple UI guidelines (Flat design) Take a look at Pixelmator - the team make a great job Full Screen - Why it is still not here? Even Blender has it. Total area of material in Material Browser - Like in Windows WILL BE GOOD TO HAVE Line Types - like you have in Layout, All Layout library to SketchUp (Lines, Fills, Scrapbook) Layout and SketchUp Layers Sync - or option to export DWG from Layout with SketchUp layers. Faster Nicer Viewport - nicer texture representation, nicer anti-aliasing, soft shadows, smooth navigation, better fog and light. So there is no almost no need for external renderer Cheers,

Hi everybody Sketchup is Great but i think its not complete, My wishlist For Sketchup 2017: 1- Faster Viewport which can handle highpoly models Easily 2- Quad Viewport 3- New Interface :Very Important because from when trimble owned sketchup its interface is the same with Some icon changes that most of them are RED, i think UI must change fully to be more user friendly such as dark Interface, new icon and etc, im working on a concept interface for sketchup, i hope it can be impressive 4- fully new material editor than can replacable by 3rd party material editors, when i use vray some times i must select materials two times and it very boring, and material editor is very very baaaad 5- faster loading models and faster running ruby scripts thanks but i think i must write a seperate post for it, after all i love sketchup its very very nice software. sorry for my poor english

A way to printout like Sheet Paper Tool like a section tool…

Feature suggestions from me, mostly UI related. -Show Materials library when Tray is set to auto-hide but paint tool is selected or a texture is sampled. It does it automatically when soften/smooth is selected but not with paint. -Allow windows like Materials Library, Layes, etc to be snapped to the tool bar but drop down on either side of the scenes tabs. I have room at the end of my tool bar and used to have the materials library in this gap for drop down when needed. This frees up screen space for modelling. Or you could just allow these windows to be freed from the Trays like in SU 2015, so we can position them like we are used to. -Option to set a custom tool bar with each individual tool of the users choosing, rather than just tool sets. There are two drawing tool sets that share most of the same basic functions but have 1-2 different tools, or the same tools just grouped into one drop down menu -Option to display scene thumbnails instead of screen tabs on tool bar. I could probably think of heaps more but the top few are really bugging me

[image] Rogue: Option to set a custom tool bar You can drag and drop all native tools individually to custom toolbars.

I know that, but you can’t do each individual item, you’re still stuck with toolsets in SU. Unless I’m missing something? Also need 8xAA option in OpenGL settings. I have to do some trickery through my NVIDIA GeForce options as it doesn’t allow you to directly overide SU’s settings for AA but it can be tricked into doing 8xAA

[image] Rogue: Also need 8xAA option in OpenGL settings. is there any visual difference between 4x and 8x AA… besides on pixel level. I know, bigger is better

Here’s a toolbar with a single tool on it. [image] I just dragged the Freehand tool from the Drawing toolbar to a custom toolbar. Seems pretty easy to me.

Huh, I didn’t see that in the release notes, guess I missed it. Thanks for pointing that out.

[image] Rogue: Huh, I didn’t see that in the release notes, guess I missed it. Thanks for pointing that out. It’s not new to SU2016 so it wouldn’t be in the release note for this version. It was there in SU2015 and maybe SU2014 but that was so long ago, I forget.

It’s actually quite noticeable when modelling on a 55inch screen 8P. Wish I could get it to do a higher AA level still, but I might loose a bit too many FPS. Get over 100FPS with my most detailed models on 8xAA
