Sketch up view window disappears when V-Ray boots

Hi all, First post hear. We are using SketchUp Pro just fine. We wanted to get v-ray5 to take the renders to the next level.

My Issue is when we we press the V-ray render button straight away the sketch up window goes black. The Render continues.

I will admit we don’t know much about the v-ray program so it could be us.Both Sketch and Chao said the new MacBook pro will work just fine but I think maybe not now?
