Since I don’t know markdown or bbc code, I guess I am in real trouble’
Can you not just write “real” text (without markdown)?
Just describe a bit more of the details of your problem (what did you do, what did you expect to happen and what happened instead).
Aerilius has it right, the post editor is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) with the benefit that it’ll recognize Markdown if you know it. You can still use the handful of formatting tools built in if you need to emphasize any points.
Regarding paths in SketchUp 2014 it seems a lot of users had previously been accessing the system level folder for SketchUp with their user settings and we have removed this folder (because it shouldn’t have been tampered with.)
The SketchUp 2014 folder on OS X is found at
Macintosh HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2014/
alternatively
~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2014/
SketchUp hasn’t used that location for storing shortcuts since SketchUp 8. Why is this information still being provided?
