Shortcut issue

I am having this strange issue with shortcuts, when pressing B then shift and then space bar, not simultaneously but in that order, opens the 3D warehouse, however my shortcut for that is completely different, and no other shortcut is shown on my preferences when I look into it.
Any one else is having an issue like this? It’s really frustrating as my workflow when painting pressing shift and then spacebar to select cursor and click outside the group to close it will be constantly interrupted by the 3D warehouse pop up.

I’m groping in the dark because you haven’t given any information about what Sketchup version you’re using on what operating system…
If you open the Ruby Console (Menu>>Extension>Developer>Ruby Console) and type in or copy paste this:

 pp Sketchup.get_shortcuts ;nil

then hit Enter, you’ll see a list of the keyboard shortcuts you’re actually using…This might help you figure out what’s going on there.

Hi Dezmo, sorry about that - SU 2025, win 11
See attached, seems like the 3D warehouse has only one shortcut, which I asigned.

The strange thing is that is not a combination of keys pressed together, such as ctrl+g but by pressing b, then shift and then space bar that activates it.

For the paint bucket, shift is a modifier key.
It would help if your profile were not private. There is info if it were correctly filled out that may affect the situation.

Hi RLGL,

What I’m trying to get across is the fact that you press that combination of keys, without holding down any of them, and suddenly the 3D warehouse pops up open, for no reason that I can find onlilne. If this is a bug, I just wanted to let the appropiate team at SU know and see if there is a solution or a work around it.

I tried that sequence on my PC. I got the Paint Bucket, then the Paint All Matching cursor icon, and then the Select tool as I would expect.

Prehaps you could try repairing the SketchUp installation and see if that changes things.

  • Close SketchUp and LayOut if they are open.
  • Do a cold reboot of the computer.
  • Find the downloaded installer in your Downloads folder.
  • Right click on it and choose Run as administrator.
  • When prompted, choose Repair.
  • After it completes, do another cold reboot.
  • Start SketchUp and see if you get the same behavior.

-UPDATED-
Back to the same rubbish - When the bucket is active, I press shift, then space and again the bloody warehouse pop up.

Thanks, Dave,

I just did a quick reset of my shortcuts on SU and re imported them - seems to be fine now.

@AG_archgraphics, not quite the same as what @DaveR suggested you to do.
