Sharing model with Trimble connect - no connecting

Not sure where to put this one.
Trying to save a copy of my model via the Share link, I can select my folder → sub folder and then when I click save it just sits there “connecting”
Checked the Trimble status page is all looks good for today.

restarted and reloaded model from local copy several times but still stuck on Connecting. Saved a few other models work on different projects this am. The cloud icon is visible next to the share button

How large is the file? Are you still using SU2025? Do you know which server you are trying to save to?

Latest SU V26.1.252

Model is just over 28M

I would assume, North American as I’m based out of Florida.

Hmmm … Is it possible there’s an ad blocker or firewall thing preventing connection? Can you start a new file and download something from your Trimble Connect storage? Can you access the storage from your web browser?

FWIW I just uploaded this model to TC. It’s 81.4 Mb and from clicking the Save button until the TC cloud icon stopped showing that it was saving was 25.6 seconds.

Some progress.

Tried to share it with another name - same issue

Tried saving a part to another new file then share via Trimble - same issue.

I was just able to save it by going to file-> Trimble connect → Save to trimble connect and it worked.

I’m using the share button so I can share a web link with the client.

I can download via the app but can’t get a link to share the file.

OK, same shaft hanger model as before. I opened it from my drive, clicked on the Share button. Immediately prompted to save it to TC. After a similar save period I get a Connecting message that hasn’t gone away.

Not much help but I can confirm it doesn’t seem to be working as expected.

I’m glad I could slow down your hair loss.

As for putting in a ticket, you should be able to do that through the SketchUp site but let’s see if pinging @KyleB does anything.

I just tried and had no issues saving to Trimble Connect and sharing a link.

I just tried it again now and it did work. Maybe there was something going on this morning.
