Sharing dynamic components

How can I share and view models with dynamic components created in SketchUp Pro 2018?

  • SketchUp viewer (desktop) dos not support it
  • SketchUp Free (web based) does not support it
  • SketchUp Make 2018 does not exist
  • Sketchup Make 2017 does not accept models created in 2018
    Thanks for advice

You can upload them to the 3D Warehouse which will automatically create versions of the file for 2017 and back to 2014.

Thanks for your answer. So I can also save it in 2017 format and users can view it in Make 2017.
The right question then: What is future of dynamic components? I do not want to spend days of creating with unclear future.
My focus is product configuration so dynamic components are key feature for me.
Thnaks for any coments about intention with DC.

Yes. You can do that, too.

As for your “right question”, my crystal ball is out for repairs. I have no more information than any other user about the future of DCs. What kind of product are you configuring?
