Shadows in UTC -5

I’m trying to use the shadows for the UTC -5 time zone (Lima, Peru), but everything goes dark at noon, I don’t understand why. At UTC -5 there should be sun until 6pm.
Please Help

Did you geo-llocate your model to Lima? if not you are still in Boulder (CO) where it will certainly be dark at that timezone time.

Illustrating what Box referred to. With proper geo-location, you should get correct shadows.

Geolocation was the bug, now I can see the shadows correctly.
