Dear Community,
As part of a larger structure, one wall developed a sort of shading I cannot explain nor dispel. It isn’t visible from all angles, from some however, it looks like this:
Moreover, the hidden line (visible as hidden geometry) here highlit in blue cannot be unhidden.
I’ll attach the file (containing but the one object in question).
If anyone might know what causes this?

That edge has been softened, not hidden so Unhide has no effect on it.
Select the geometry, right click on it, choose Soften/Smooth Edges.
If that edge was hidden instead of softened you wouldn’t get that shading.
There are other edges that are hidden that you may want to unhide.
