Setting component axes to world axes

Is there an automated way to set a component’s axes to the scene’s axes?
(meaning: not only making them paralllel but also putting the component axes’ start at the point of the world axe’s start)

My clunky script
is old, but it should still work…
Even with its original misspelling !
