Server lag problem

Hi all, does anybody else suffer from server/connection lag? I’m all excited about getting started with Sketchup Free (longtime sketchup user) 'cos it will work on my Linux PC but this evening it’s soo slooow. My internet is 2mB, 29 ping and 0.84mB upload. While this ain’t good, all other internet connections work fine. I’d almost think it’s a potato server… or perhaps some link between France and wherever the server is cooked a bit.

Apparently Orange are upgrading our link in a couple of days, I’ll believe it when it happens.

You might try a different browser or restart the same one. I’m not sure all the performance problems are because of internet connections. I had severe problems once while applying materials while working in Firefox, so I switched to Chrome and didn’t see the problem. Since then, I’ve come back to Firefox and done OK, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
