I often have problems to select stuff that is on the same plane. Sometimes I have several groups or components with things nested in them that overlap each other and are on the same plane, maybe one group is just line work.
If I want to select something in this situation I have to open a lot of groups first to turn on/off stuff in tags or the outliner to be able to select the thing that I actually want. Line work is especially hard to select
Is there a straightforward method to select stuff in such a situation?
For example, it’s quite a hassle to select the red geometry in the image, they are nested in a group.
