Hi, I just subscribed to the annual subscription for Sefaira. I want to use it with Revit 2026 but it only opens in Revit 2024. Does Sefaira not support the 2026 version? If it does, then is there any way to resolve this issue as all of my cloud models are in the 2026 version and cannot be downgraded?
Sefaira currently does not support Revit 2026. Autodesk made changes that made it very difficult to support Revit 2026.
Sefaira does work in Revit 2025, but that doesn’t help the fact that Revit does not allow you to downgrade.

Okay. One option for now would be to export your Revit model as an IFC file from Revit, import the IFC file into SketchUp, and then try using Sefaira Energy from SketchUp.
The exported model will most likely contain more building detail than is necessary for an energy simulation. As a result, you may need to spend some time cleaning up the model—for example, converting thick walls into single-face geometry and removing details that are not relevant to the energy analysis.
Unfortunately, this is currently the only available workflow until we make the Sefaira extension compatible with Revit 2026 and later versions. We are actively working on this and hope to make progress on it in the near future.

P.S. If you are interested in daylight analysis, the situation is more promising. The file-conversion process would be the same, but we now have a new version of our daylight analysis apps available through Analysis Hub. These tools can accurately identify spaces in your model, and you may not need to simplify the model as long as it is not unnecessarily complex.
