What do you mean by hollow walls? Can you share the file?

Please share a (some) screenshot(s) to clarify.
All (closed) shapes in SketchUp are hollow. SketchUp is a surface modeling program, not a solid modeling program.

Objects may be recognized as ‘SketchUp Solids’ under certain conditions (grouped watertight geometry with no stay geometry inside or outside the grouped shape), but the inner shape is still hollow.

Try redrawing some edges to fix faces on your wall geometry (in the same context as the existing geometry !)
