What is the proper way of making a section cut that shows the existing level, to be imported as a view port to Layout? Making two section cuts in opposite directions seems to do the trick. Are there other more simple way to do it?
Further, in Layout, I would like to use a dashed line to mark the existing level. Can the style of the section cut be changed from a solid line to dashed line in SU?
Thanks for linking the trick, the trick by Matt Donley shows how to hide everything on the other side of the section. However, my question is that is there a way to apply a dashed line property to the section cut line? Styles allows one to change the color and the thickness of it but, but not the type of line?
