Me and my companion are running skethup 2026 and scan essentials. We have the same problem, when using texture projection the surface is just going black. It the same on both computers. Anyone knows why? It would be nice to be able to use it, its a great feature.

Is it possible to share with us the skp + the associated point cloud ?
Could you also tell me which version of Scan Essentials you used ?

I think I found the issue. You are working on a point cloud that uses georeferenced positions.
For now, the only workaround I can suggest you is to use a point cloud software and export the point cloud to a position close to the origin.
We were aware of this issue by Paul Millet sooner this week. Unfortunately we wont be able to fix it quickly. We’ll see what we can do and I’ll keep you informed
