Not sure if this is the right place to post this question. I’m trying to create a 3/4" front slab that has rounded corners on both ends, like this picture below.
Not sure how to go about doing this in Sketchup?

I would round the corners before radiusing the edges You could do it with Follow Me although Fredo Corner or Round Corner, both from Sketchucation, would make very quick work of that.
It’s actually the same thing you’d have to do in the shop–round the corners before running the radius around the edges.
Rounding the corners I can do, what I can’t figure out is how to “round” them both vertically and horizontally where it meets in the middle like in that circled corner in the picture.
Round the corners first as in the middle panel in my screen shot. With native tools draw arcs the corners and use Push/Pull to push away the waste. Then use Follow Me with an arc profile to radius the edges all the way around. Or use one of the extensions I mentioned.
Maybe like this.
Rounded edges on a box front.skp (235.1 KB)
Hmm…clearly doing something wrong. With RoundCorner tool, I keep getting this, which isn’t what I need. I.e it’s only rounding that specific corner vs having two beveled edges meet sort of thing.
versus …
I don’t understand what is wrong with what you are getting? Do you want to round over the case behind the front panel too?
I guess Jean is taking over so I’ll leave it in his hands.
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do with the box. Let me have a look to see if I understand the explanation/steps!
Thx
