The Vancouver Convention Centre recently added a proper in house cafe and wine bar just below our Knowledge Hub – hence the name change so as not to confuse people. Don’t worry as there will be plenty of coffee to be had.

It’ll be quite the culture shock for me, like actually meeting industry professionals in real life (I don’t get out much). I can think of no better place for that though, really looking forward to it

I wish I could go. I’ve got plenty of vacation (SketchUp is my hobby - not my work) - but I’m negotiating on building a house at the rural property that will be my home - and I’ve got to watch my pennies! Just can’t justify the expense in light of that.

I have done it once, for the house I live in, gearing up to do it again. We should have a “design / building my own house” support group at basecamp. In the bar of course.
