Roadbox: Parametric Road Modeling for Urban Design
Hello everyone,
Integrating Civil 3D road models into urban design projects is always a major challenge. To solve this, I developed Roadbox—a plugin that lets you build parametric road models using just a centerline.
The tool is designed for precision. You can assign elevations to roads and intersections, adjust radii on the fly, and add custom elevation points anywhere along the route. Everything remains fully editable, aiming to give you the accuracy of a civil engineer.
I am sharing this early demo trial so you can test it in your workflows. The interface is still a bit complex and there are some bugs, but your feedback right now is incredibly valuable.
