Hello,
I continue not being able to import Revit models (2024, 2025 or 2026) in Sketchup Studio. I have tried saving the Revit models on my desktop as Central Models, or removing the worksets entirely and saving local copies. In all instances, I am able to select the 3D view to import, select the desired ‘layers’, and choose the right Phase… They all result to “Import Failed”
I tried installing Sketchup Studio 2025 and updating the Revit Importer. I’ve also tried the latest Sketchup Studio 2026.
I am fully out of ideas and need to import a model ASAP to keep my project moving.
Anyone resolve this? Thanks in advance
One option could be this: use the Revit addin Trimble Connect for Revit to upload the Revit file to Trimble Connect (you need the uploader addin, for it needs to be converted) once uploaded, one can download as trimbim and import that in SketchUp. It will be a’flat’ import (families to components etc) but maybe workable for your needs?
@justin.langlois It sounds like you have done everything needed, if you are OK to send us the files so we can debug the issue, feel free to DM me.
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks Dan – a bit of a silly question but how do I send you a DM on this platform? I’m happy to send you the Revit model to review.
Justin
Dan – see this Sharepoint link below to the revit model. Let me know if it’s not working

I’ve DM’ed you as can’t access your sharepoint.
You find DMs under your profile button (top right):
@justin.langlois It looks like we are failing to import the railings
Could you try again and deselect that entity?
We’ve opened a bug ticket internally to fix this in a future relase.
