I hope this message finds you well. I am a current student at Technological Institute of the Philippines, and I am seeking assistance to obtain free access to SketchUp Pro as part of the student offer. I have previously accessed this free license during my academic years and would like to request access again.
Could you please guide me through the process for verifying my student status and obtaining the free educational license for SketchUp Pro? Below are my details:
Full Name: Phoebe M. Manuel
University Name: Technological Institute of the Philippines
Student Email Address: mpmmanuel@tip.edu.ph
Course/Program: BSArchitecture
Enrollment Status: 4th year student
If you require any further documentation, such as a student ID or class schedule, I am happy to provide that.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

You have to check the resellers on your country, if your country doesn’t have an official reseller, it’s almost impossible to get a license, I know it because there’s not an official reseller in my country, when I was a student SketchUp didn’t have a deal with my university either, luckily there was SketchUp make back then so we didn’t have to cr ack software, and I discovered Layout (the only missing feature on the make version) a few years after graduating.
Thank you. I just checked with the resellers in our country an hour ago, and they don’t offer a free student license for university students. We’re in the Philippines, and they sell the student license for 81 USD, which is higher than the 55 USD in the US and Canada.
Yeah they probably want to profit from it, I don’t know if Trimble is aware of it. Anyways it’s still better than $400 but I think that student licenses should be free, like most of the offer from other softwares.
