Render Podium not working- help!

I am on a mac with sketch up 2023 and PODIUM V2.6 PLUS. I cannot get my scene to render. I read this: Processing Issues - Why is SU Podium Failing
and this: https://www.suplugins.com/help/environment.php#caching

My computer firewall is inactive, but I do have Microsoft defender enabled. but I cannot turn it off.
OOPR comes up when I click Rendering Manager. Generate does not work either- I click tools-generate all- and then just the scene I want and it crashes.
Can you help?

I think it may be because I am on MacOS Sonoma with SketchUp 2023? and from what I am finding online these are not compatible?
