Is there a way to delete the “out of the box” SketchUp materials entirely, so that they don’t show up at all in the tray?
I’m trying to coordinate materials between several users, so I’d like to replace the out of the box materials with something custom. Ideally I would take away the OOTB materials entirely, so that you would only see my custom list of materials.
I see that you can right click on each individual material and delete it, but it comes back the next time I open SketchUp. I’m using SketchUp 2017 Pro. Any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks for your reply! When I go to that folder “C:\Users…\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Materials” it is empty. I think that’s the location where SketchUp puts any new materials you save, but the out of the box materials seem to be somewhere else.
