Working through the tutorials. Why are the face and inside of the largest circle a different color than everything else?
Those blue faces are inside out. Right click on one of the white faces and choose Orient Faces.
Generally that occurs due to the order in which you did the steps to create that part. Very likely you drew the large circle on the flat face of the part and then used Push/Pull to make it 3D. Deleting the faces inside the circles before extruding will normally prevent the visible back faces.
Orbit around to the other side and make sure the object ha a face on that side.
