Hi all
I’m trying to create a stud wall in profile builder but I’m having issues with my stud spacings being 400mm to the centre of the stud. In the real world I set the first stud 22.5mm back from 400mm and the rest 400mm from that so that a full sheet of sheathing will land half way on a stud. I’m struggling to do this in profile builder, I can only get the first stud to be 400mm to the edge. I’m new to creating assemblies and SketchUp in general so bear with me.
Many thanks
I followed this tutorial but it still got my first stud 400mm to the edge even with the axes in the middle and the start offset back 22.5 unless I’m missing something
Ah so I create a separate component piece That happens only at the start? I tried this and put the first stud in the correct place but then merged it with the next stud
Okay I get it now I use one component for the start with the axes in the center and tick at start of path and put the start set back at 22.5mm. Then for the copy I un-tick at start of path and leave it every 400mm and that works to the center. Thanks for your help!
