New to Sketchup and need help with Profile Builder component spacing

No matter what increments I use for my ballister spacing for the hand rail, nothing is working, even when I adjust just 1/16 of an inch at a time. Why is it so difficult to get close to about 4-5 inches apart?

That’s where I was having trouble. Nothing was working.

Although you managed to make it work, it doesn’t address the issues I faced or provide a solution. All I can gather is that you changed from inches to centimeters.

But if you uncheck ‘Max’, you will be able to control the distance, in the units of measurement that you use.

I changed to cm because it’s easier to read and to calculate 30 cm than ~ 10 5/16".
