Looking to purchase a new PC. I will be running SU2017 and Vray 3 when it comes out, currently using Vray 2. I understand that SU2017 and Vray take advantage of the 64bit os. Which processor should be selected, single or dual and
fastest speed or multiple cores?
I don’t use vray so I’ll only talk about sketchup. Nothing has changed in 2017 about choosing the best CPU. Sketchup will use only a single core so you should aim for highest basic core performance and clock speed. 64-bit lets you work a larger model before memory becomes an issue but has essentially no impact on performance.
