First time user here. Please answer in layman’s terms 
I am trying to print my 2d floor plan and I can’t get it to print to scale. When I select print preview I am unable to use “model extents”, the options are greyed out. I will want to export to a pdf as well.
Set up a scene in SketchUp making sure the camera is set to Parallel Projection and you have the appropriate standard view. Most likely the Top view. Save the file and then send to LayOut. Select the appropriate paper size and select the viewport showing the model. Set the scale in the SketchUp Model panel on the right side. Resize the viewport as needed to show the entire model. Then export to PDF and you should be good to go.
