Pricing Dynamic Components

I am trying to build a library for cabinetry that relates to my company’s pricing program so I can eliminate my current cad and pricing program.

I know dynamic components really well, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to price nested components.

Is there an extension that makes it possible to add an attribute across multiple components (I am thinking I will create a final pricing attribute for each box, then add the final pricing of all boxes in my model)

Is there a way to do this? Or does anyone have any thoughts on how I would use sketchup to price complicated components? (Each box will need to change price based off drawers, doors, door style, etc. I know how to do it in the component, but not how to get a final price.)

You are on the right track I think. Create a custom price attribute for each component, then total them in generate report. Personally I pull component totals out into a .csv file with generate report and do my pricing in Excel. There are several options for how to separate or combine the attribute data:
