Plug in compatibility in SketchUp Pro 2017

#1

Hello all,
So I’ve just installed 2017 pro, copied all my plugins and ‘most’ work by drag n drop had to manually install a few. Has anyone found a solution to install lumenrt studio and Andersen window studio. I can’t seem to get those to work.
Sjc.

Dragging your extensions from an older version of SketchUp to a new one is generally a bad idea. Due to changes in the Ruby version from one SketchUp version to the next, you can create problems for yourself. It is much better to install fresh copies from their sources. The Extension Warehouse and Sketchucation Extension Store both make that very easy for the majority of extensions. For the two you are having problems with, remove them from the Plugins folder and install fresh copies from their sources.
