Please publicly release every single 3D Basecamp 2018 presentation recorded.
Shortly before 3D Basecamp 2018, I remember reading a message from Trimble saying that all presentations would be video recorded. At the Basecamp, a Trimble representative said that most presentations would be video recorded. Now, Trimble is saying that is saying that “a few” of the presentations will be made available.
Releasing every presentation as a recorded video would be most beneficial. Especially as Trimble made the decision to concurrently host 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 presentations or other Basecamp activities. It was impossible for any human basecamper to attend even most presentations, not to mention the millions of users who never made it to Palm springs.
The video editing does not have to be spotless, but please release the lot.
Watching recorded presentation videos afterwards would help basecampers make up for presentations lost. It would be a boon to those Sketchupers who could not make it to Palm Springs this year. From Trimble’s perspective, it would provide solid Sketchup content marketing for many years.
We are really looking forward to watching dozens of recorded 3D Basecamp 2018 presentations.
