Place selected component again

Hello,

When you select a component from within the component selector you can quickly place the selected component oriented by the face where the mouse hovers over.
But when I copy a component from within the model the copy is oriented by the origin component.

So, is it possible to select a component in the drawing, and quickly find it in the component selector so you can place the same component again with the orientating advantages of using the component selector?

I think this would be really easy, so there must be a way of doing this but I can’t find it.

FAIK a copy of a ‘Glue To’ component will also glue to and orient itself to a new face. So there’s no need to select a new instance from within the component library.
