Photomatch shows objects as wire frame

I cannot figure out how to get my objects to show their actual materials. All object are in wire frame. I saw a post from 2014 where they mention thee are two copies of the photo, one in the foreground and one in the background and just turn the foreground to full transparent but I cannot find where you do that in SketchUp 2025. Help!

In Styles, under the Edit tab and then the Modeling settings.

Remember to update the style after making your changes.

Still doesn’t make the object have the materials finishes selected for it. It’s still a wire frame only.

What face style do you have selected?

I got it now. I just followed the email and hadn’t seen the video. But now my ground plane is higher that it should be. Do I just turn it off?

What is the “ground plane”? That image? If you don’t need it you can turn off its tag or you could delete it altogether.

SketchUp’s native ground plane can be hidden under the Background settings but if your model drops below theat ground plane and shouldn’t, you should move the model up.

Thanks,

Yes, I hid it for now and it looks good.
