Opening Problem

I tend to find that the fewer extensions I have installed, the better, so I often remove things like Add Location and Dynamic Components as I don’t use them.

The problem is that every time I launch SketchUp, I’m prompted to update them again.

Is there a simple way to remove them completely and stop SketchUp asking me to update them?

you should be able to disable them in the extenbions manager, which should stop them loading on startup.

Thanks Ian. I’ve tried umpteen times to get rid of them and I’ve just tried again and applied the changes. Then as soon as I restart SketchUp I get this message:

and whatever I do they all come straight back.

Its Add Location, Dynamic Components and Sandbox Tools I would like to lose.

Don’t try to remove them. Leave them installed and disable them in the extension manager. That way they won’t even try to load. If you still get that popup anyway, ignore it.

Ah - thanks for that. I updated them but left them disabled, and now the popup has disappeared. I have to say SketchUp loads a lot faster and almost never crashes without those plugins. :+1:
