Hi,
I am just trying sketchup for the first time, the free web version.
How can I, or am I able to, change the opacity of a face/shape?
I am designing an invention I conjured up and need to make the outer walls transparent.
Thank you in advance,
Boshy

You can use a translucent material from the Materials collection.
In SketchUp Free there is currently no option for adjusting the opacity of materials. It can be done in the desktop client versions of SketchUp and I believe you can do it in SketchUp Shop.

Does sketch up shop have the “intersect” option, or only the Pro version?
All sketchup versions have intersect.
