Only online?

Forgive me if this is old news. I’ve been out of my field for a few years. I use SketchUp Make 2017. I want to use the Pro version again as I did 11 yrs ago. Is there only an online version now with no download for purchase?

Yes, you can download, try out, and pay for the Pro version which runs locally on your Windows or MacOS machine, but the pricing is subscription only now. There is an online version which runs in a browser (one free, one payed and one specifically for schools), but if you want the desktop version, that’s called “Pro” now, and there is no “Make” version of it any more.

Oh jeez!! I just read online that a 20% discount on a year’s subscription ended yesterday, June 6!! Thanks for your reply and explanation of options.

I was thinking that, but couldn’t remember the exact expiration date. There is also a price increase scheduled, so you could at least beat that.

Well, there was a “PRO20OFF” discount until yesterday yes.
you might still try it, who knows.

when the monthly increase was announced, a “PRO30OFF” discount was mentioned too. I don’t have any infos, duration, nothing. but hey, it’s worth trying too.
