Dave, I am going to have it 3d printed on plastic as I did the previous design. Cheaper than metal and the color is very close to the rest of the baseboard.

I see. So after you get that skin, you can use Joint Push/Pull from Fredo6 to give it some thickness.

I still have to add the connection taps but then will attempt to thicken it.

To be serious: It is a heater, how hot does it get? In our parts you are not allowed to fix anything not in the original spec to electric appliances.

I used the tape measure tool to create guide lines parallel to the top edges of the openings and moved them into place at the the left and right points of the bottom openings. They look like the ones you indicated. However then I am not clear as what you did next. Can you be more specific as how you moved the top piece to align with those guide lines?

I also looked at the baseboard drawings in the warehouse but have not checked yet if they have the same dimensions as mine.

Do you have an android phone in addition to your soup cans?

It is not an electric baseboard heater, but a hot water one. The covers do not touch the hot water pipes.

I basically extended the edges of the heaters to meet in the corner and then use Follow Me to extrude the shape. In this case, since you are 3D printing the thing you might consider just drawing the end section as I have in the attached animation.

I expect you’ll need quite a lot of support material to print this.

In my previous example I drew the cross section of the heater because I didn’t realize what you were doing for manufacturing.

In the screen shot with the guidelines on the top, I didn’t move anything. I just drew lines on top to split the surface and then deleted what I didn’t want.

Yeah but the battery never goes dead in the soup cans. :slight_smile:

So I can just draw the 2d projection of my baseboard end profile and a 1d line of the desired intersection angle and then use Follow Me to move the 2d projection along the 1d intersection angle?
