'No active V-Ray for Sketchup licence'

Hellooo, I just got a new Sketchup account ( studio) with vray.

In my trimble account it says that I have an active SketchUp studio. I had the app already on my laptop, and also downloaded vray for Sketchup through the link in my trimble account. Al the tools from Vray are now in my screen in Sketchup. But when I try to use them I get this notification.

edit

My chaos account says that i don’t have active products, But my trimble account says I do have vray ( i’m confused help :frowning: )

hello, did you go to > extensions > vray > help > licence > activate licence ?

hii, just tried that but there’s no responds when i click on activate licence :frowning:

maybe the licence server is not properly installed, try to download it again from chaos website

just did that. My chaos account says that I don’t have any active products, while my trimble account says otherwhise.

I once had a similar problem. I was using Google login to login to SketchUp. It was resolved after I switched to logging in directly to SketchUp with an username and password. I don’t know if anyone else has had quite the same issue. You could also contact Support via the webpage.

You said your studio licence is brand new, and that you already had SketchUp installed. I’did you upgrade your pro licence ? Or is it an additional one ?

You should make sure : you’re logged into the right account in SketchUp

Make sure the studio licence is applied to this address in the members section on SketchUp website - account

Log off and back in inside SketchUp in case you upgraded your licence, so the changes take effect

A regular hassle for many SketchUp Studio users - if you don’t need RVT and Scan essentials, buy it standalone - the version of V-Ray from Chaos has more materials.

If you’ve just renewed you have to unassign it and reassign it for it to show.

You may also need to delete a file on your computer to have it kick in.

Instructions are here to solve it
