I just started trying the free web version tonight. So far, I’m liking the simplicity but I’m doing really dumb things. I keep making mistakes in dimensions of components I create and since I can’t figure out how to change the dimensions after-the-fact, I keep deleting and recreating components with the correct dimensions–really dumb and really tedious. Can someone tell me how to do this without having to start all over? I’m sorry for such a newbie question, but I searched and didn’t find a similar question.

I just noticed that the basics course is for the desktop version. As I stated, I have just the free web version right now. I don’t think this will help me. I’ll try the YouTube channel.

After you learn the basics, and you still have doubts about changing some dimensions, specify the exact shape you want to modify, because depending on that, there can be different ways of editing. It’s one thing to ask for a simple rectangle, another for a 3D door or window, another for an organic shape, and another entirely if that component contains multiple other objects.
