When I go to appdotsketchupdotcom or go to sketchupdotcom to click on start modeling, both take me to a create account page. I create my account and it takes me to trimbledotcom’s copyright information page. When I go back to sketchupdotcom, it says I don’t have an account. It’s circular and I can’t get out of it.
On the sign in page for the app you could have signed in with Google, if you have a Google account. Having gone the Trimble ID way there is probably an email confirmation message in your mailbox.
