I tried running as Administrator as well. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, and ran as administrator with no luck getting the fonts to show up when I place the raised text. The Font selected seems to show in the Text Tool window prior to being placed onto my workspace. Any suggestions? Also brand new computer I haven’t added any new fonts. These are stock fonts that are from Microsoft.
The correct way to install SketchUp is to right-click on the installer file and choose Run as Administrator. This will ensure the correct Windows permissions are given to SketchUp. Running the program as administrator is not the same and not necessary.
Yes, I’ve done that method, and it seems to show some of the correct fonts, and others it picks a standard font like Helvetica. I have been choosing fonts that have some noticeable features to see which ones work. It’s hit or miss. I never had this problem with my old 2019 version.
Please be more specific about which fonts don’t seem to be displayed.
Windows 11 doesn’t ship with Helvetica. By default the standard font used by SketchUp on Windows is Tahoma. SketchUp wouldn’t select Helvetica unless you installed it in the system fonts and chose it at some point.
