Need help modelling sculpted wall

Hey everyone I am in need of an assist. I am trying to model this wall , I don’t mind getting plugins and such but what should I get to achieve this wall look?

How do you intend to use the model: just have it in SketchUp, print it 3D or to render it? How detailed do you want it?

Sketchup modelling it please, as detailed as possible. Rendering using displacement maps the quality isnt a great idea for me. Thank you.

Modeling it just to have it in the SketchUp and to be detailed will create problems because of the large number of polygons, but… as an idea (Vertex Tools, SUbD extensions in SketchUp):

Another method would be to create a texture (in Blender or maybe Photoshop) and use an extension (eg. Bitmap to Mesh) to generate your 3D model.

If you want to use only SU, maybe you can use the Sandbox tools.

1 - Draw a large rectangle like, 100 times the size of you wall to gives you a limit for the next steps.

2 - Draw contours on the rectangle using whatever tools you want (line, arc , freehand).

3 - Use the move tool to reposition endpoints, edges, complete curves. Move sideway but also up and down. If you are satisfied, go to step 7.

4 - Delete the faces between the contours.

5 - Select all the contours.

6 - Use the Sandbox Tool From Contours.

7 - Rotate the result so it stands vertically.

8 - Scale it down to get back to your wall size.

9 - Smooth edges where required.

9 - Curve it as required with a plugin.
